CHIEF OPERATING/FINANCIAL OFFICER:-
BIAS is looking for a committed, energetic, well-qualified business manager who wants to be in the midst of running and controlling the day to day operations of a 25 employee investment management/advisory firm. Those without management experience in the investment industry should not apply.

Major Responsibilities:-

Assist the CEO and principals in developing and executing the long term strategic vision of the firm.
Strategic analyses of current profit centers as well as developing business opportunities.
Manage, motivate, and lead a team of committed managers to effectively drive deliverables to the clients.
Direct the compliance, regulatory and risk management functions within the firm.
Improve and enhance operational efficiencies through stream-lined processes and cutting edge technologies.
Oversee the work of the Financial Controller to ensure timely and useful budgetary and financial reporting.
Plan, organize and direct the operational aspects of any overseas expansion.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:-

Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA) with minimum 8 years post qualification experience in the financial services industry, including at least 5 years in a management position in the investment industry.
Preference will be given to those holding the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Solid understanding of investment strategies and financial services products.
Fund valuation and shareholder service experience a necessity.
Compliance experience gained at a senior management level.
Strong knowledge of computer and network systems with experience in systems conversions.
Track record demonstrating excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
