ASSOCIATE INVESTMENT ADVISOR
Bermuda Investment Advisory Services Ltd. (BIAS) is a full service Investment Management and Advisory group with companies in Bermuda and Cayman seeking an individual to join a team of energetic and committed professionals as Associate Investment Advisor.

This position calls for an experienced and ethical individual capable of providing relationship management and growing the current client base through referral generation and new client acquisition. The successful candidate must be a “self-starter” with very strong interpersonal skills and who can work independently with very little supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Participate in the weekly Investment Committee Review meeting.
• Manage all account relationships according to BIAS' investment policy.
• Attract and develop new client relationships.
• Promote company's investment recommendations to clients.
• Execute securities transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prepare all paperwork necessary to confirm client approval and execute transactions.
• Provide periodic reports for existing clients as well as proposals for prospective clients.

Educational and Work Requirements include

• A Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Finance, or an equivalent internationally recognised qualification such as Series 7, Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Securities Conduct and Practices Handbook, CFA level 1.
• Minimum two years experience in the investment industry providing investment advice to private clients with three years sales experience.
• Demonstrated experience in building a book of business.
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as proven ability to achieve goals.
• Adherence to the strictest Standard of Practices and Code of Ethics as outlined by the CFA Institute
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to use relevant PC and other investment related technology
